Today's comic idea comes from Lightning, who is naturally featured in the comic. The staff of Onigiri Insanity was given an assignment. Lightning's answer was "Right now my mind is filled only with Nye's book [The Paradox of American Power by Joseph S. Nye Jr.] and Skyrim, and suddenly all the comparisons and links between them." She had no idea that this would make it into the comic at all. But five page papers mixed with gaming obsessions always make for a bit of amusement.
It has come to our attention that we neglected to do a con report on AnimeUSA. A good time was had by all, though Osaka and Sealand vow never to drive around again (Osaka only because of Sealand's evil GPS), and event such as Anime Parliament and Uncle Yo were greatly enjoyed. Afraid that is all we've got for you on that front. We're already looking forward to Setsucon in January!
